A total of 30 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander AFL players from 17 clubs will take part in the match against Fremantle. The squad includes seven All Australians, nine premiership players, six top-ten draft picks, and three Mark of the Year winners.
The 2025 Toyota AFL Indigenous All Stars match will take place on Saturday 15 February, at Optus Stadium, with the Indigenous All Stars taking on Fremantle as part of the AFL pre-season fixture.
With only two days to go until the 2025 Toyota AFL Indigenous All Stars game, Fremantle has announced a squad of 30 set to feature at Optus Stadium.
Saturday’s clash will give fans a chance to see two of the newest faces, teenagers Murphy Reid and Aiden Riddle, run out in Club colours for the first time after being drafted by Fremantle at the end of the 2024 season.
Reid was Fremantle’s first selection in the AFL National Draft with pick 17, while 200cm Claremont colts premiership ruckman Riddle was added in the Rookie Draft.
Defenders Heath Chapman and Brennan Cox are in the squad after being managed for the Club’s intraclub match at Cockburn last Friday.
Fans will have to wait a little longer to see trade acquisition Shai Bolton line up in purple, with the Minang and Wilman man running out alongside Michael Walters for the Indigenous All Stars.
Walters has been named captain of the Indigenous All Stars, while Club captain Alex Pearce has been ruled out of the All Stars line-up after sustaining a minor ankle injury last week.
