Shocking News: Slipknot announces new tour date and album titled….

Slipknot’s Sid Wilson has returned home after being hospitalised with “severe burns”. The 47 year old rocker revealed on Friday that he had suffered an “explosion” in his face while working on the farm he shares with partner Kelly Osbourne, 39, and their two year old son Sidney.

He has since shared a series of videos on Instagram Stories showing him being cared for by former reality TV star Kelly. In the clips, Sid is seen lying down with a colourful animated background, applying moisturiser to his reddened mouth, saying: “I’ve just done my lips, I’m getting some stuff on my face.”

He also checks with Kelly if they have enough face moisturiser, to which she responds: “Yeah, we’ll have enough. We only have to make it through to Wednesday (with the cream.)” Sid concludes the series of clips by telling fans: “Peace, y’all… keep coming back for more.”

The musician had previously assured his online followers that he was “OK” following his accident, but confessed he had sustained some “pretty bad” burns. From his hospital bed, he updated fans: “Hi everybody, I had an explosion in my face. I’m ok, I’m gonna be ok, but I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms.”

“I’m singed everywhere. Eyebrows are singed. My mouth is blistered. My arms (are) pretty bad. Both of my arms.”

In the video, Kelly can be seen sitting close by with their son on her lap as she contributed: “He literally set himself on fire and exploded everything.”

Despite his injuries, Sid remained optimistic about his return to performing, insisting: “I’m gonna be alright and I don’t care what it takes, I’m gonna see you on tour.
