For the first time, Paula Badosa has spoken out about her choice to end her relationship with Greek tennis player

Stefanos Tsitsipas, drawing comparisons between their breakup and that of another well-known tennis pair.

After almost a year together, former world No. 2 Badosa, 26, and Tsitsipas, 25, announced on Monday that they would be parting ways amicably.

The Instagram account had been deleted prior to their split announcement, but the couple’s images can still be found on their separate social media accounts.

The couple, who have become one of tennis’ biggest power couples, have fiercely backed one another online through their actions both on and off the court.
