Shocking: Indiana fever Star announces retirement due to serious heart disorder following…

Caitlin Clark has been one of the most electric offensive weapons in the WNBA this season, and the Indiana Fever recently highlighted how special the rookie has been. The Fever posted an edit of Clark’s three-point range, mentioning that the rookie leads the WNBA in longest average distance of made three-pointers.

They explained that the WNBA three-point line is 22 feet and 1.75 inches, but Clark’s average three-pointer made comes from 28 feet and 1.1 inches. In the edit, they showed Clark’s distance from the basket when attempting these shots while adding two of her opponents, Sabrina Ionescu and Diana Taurasi, in the edit to show just how good the rookie has been. Ionescu’s three-point range was clocked in at 26.10 feet, while Taurasi’s was 25.93 feet.

After the finale of the Indiana Fever’s explanation, they posted a quick note to describe Clark’s incredible feat. “League of her own,” said the Indiana Fever’s official social media page.

Clark has struggled in terms of efficiency this season, shooting 32.8% from three and 41.2% from the field, but the rookie has still been able to post incredible numbers in her first year in the WNBA.

The 22-year-old star has averaged 17.8 points, 8.3 assists, and 5.8 rebounds, leading all rookies in average points and assists.

Clark’s scoring ability has been highlighted at a different dimension since returning from the WNBA’s break for the Summer Olympics.

During the Indiana Fever’s two-game win streak against the Phoenix Mercury and Seattle Storm, Clark saw her efficiency totals rise. In the Fever’s 98-89 victory against the Mercury on Aug. 16, Clark posted 29 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds, shooting 50% from the field. In the following matchup against the Storm, the rookie recorded 23 points, nine assists, and five rebounds, shooting 47.4% from the field.
