Before the injury, he also missed four games due to a stinger in his neck. Despite these setbacks, the Giants have bolstered their offensive line and added prospect Malik Nabers to support him. With many teams having drafted quarterbacks recently, next year’s market for new signal-callers will be less competitive. Another player facing a pivotal year is Evan Neal, the Giants’ former 7th overall pick from 2022. Neal only managed 460 snaps last year, during which he gave up 29 pressures and two sacks. The Giants have brought in Jermaine Eluemunor to compete at right tackle, indicating that Neal must significantly improve or potentially face a change in position.

Neal’s recovery from foot surgery this offseason has been slow, raising concerns about his readiness for training camp. The Giants are compelled to continue providing opportunities, given the high draft investment.
