SADDEN REPORT: Francisco 49ers Failed and made a critical mistake in….But indeed a talented team as…

I feel like we clearly got the most talented team in the league’

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward has a vibrant, upbeat personality that shines every time he speaks to the media. Mooney is also blunt and has never been one to sugarcoat his message.

When speaking to Kay Adams on Tuesday’s Up & Adams Show, Ward had the utmost confidence in the Niners moving forward: “I think we’re the best team in the NFL outside of the Super Bowl Champions. I don’t think nobody really messing with us right now. I feel like we clearly got the most talented team in the league.”

Why 49ers Pro Bowler Charvarius Ward Left The Chiefs

The 49ers have never lacked in talent. Their struggle has been to preserve that talent over what has felt like a 20-game season. This, along with the daunting task of overcoming their nemesis, has been their true challenge.

Ward continued: “It’s just when you go up against the Michael Jordan of the NFL, which is Patrick Mahomes, that’s a tough matchup. But I don’t think anybody really can beat us outside of Patrick Mahomes bringing his A-game like he did in the Super Bowl.”

That is the biggest caveat of the century. But we’re also talking about one of the greatest players from this century. Many believe the time to beat the Chiefs was last year during a “down” season.

Kansas City had the best defense they’ve had under Mahomes, but their offense was lacking. In the end, Mahomes took matters into his own hands, or should I say legs, to break the hearts of the 49ers once again. Close, but no cigar.

Back to Mooney being blunt. He knows how things are. You have to imagine the entire team shares his them. frustration, or eagerness to beat Kansas City: “We gotta beat them, boys. They’ve been tearing our as* up for a while. We gotta beat them. They’re the champs. I feel like that’s the only team that’s been giving us problems. So, we gotta go out there and try to beat them boys.”

Perhaps a win in the regular season would give the 49ers the confidence they need to close out the Chiefs if they were to meet again in the postseason.
