Chiefs Acquire a 2025 Third-Round Pick from Tennessee for CB L’Jarius Sneed
The Chiefs dealt Sneed to the Tennessee Titans on Thursday
The Kansas City Chiefs announced a trade on Friday that sent cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick. As part of the deal, the Chiefs also swapped their seventh-round pick in this year’s draft (No. 252 overall) for one of Tennessee’s selections (No. 221 overall).
Sneed departs Kansas City as a two-time Super Bowl champion after joining the Chiefs as a fourth-round pick in 2020. He appeared in 57 games during his tenure with Kansas City, including 16 contests this past season in which he led all Chiefs’ defenders in total snaps (991).
He made numerous big plays during his time with the Chiefs, from an interception in his first-career game back in 2020 to a forced fumble in last year’s AFC Championship game that helped preserve Kansas City’s lead.
In return for Sneed, Kansas City now owns an additional third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft while also swapping its final pick in 2024 for the first selection of the seventh round.
