GOOD NEWS: Tennessee Titans completes the signing of a top veteran after much talks

Jamal Adams immediately sends his own message to the Titans fan base after joining the team

Jamal Adams has officially found his new NFL home with the Tennessee Titans after the team announced Thursday that it had reached a one-year deal with the free agent safety.

And he already has a message for the fan base in Nashville. He made his confidence in what he brings to the table quite clear in a social media video with Mike Keith, the award-winning voice of the Titans.

“I post videos to tell you about significance, but rather than me doing a video saying why the Jamal Adams signing is significant to the Tennessee Titans, let’s ask Jamal Adams why the signing of Jamal Adams is significant,” Keith said in the video posted on X.

“Leadership. Swagger. Energy,” Adams said.

Adams finished out the 2023 season with 48 combined tackles (34 solo) and 2 pass breakups over 9 games. The 28-year-old Adams has been hindered by the injury bug for some time now, missing 33 of a possible 67 regular-season games in his four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

Over that period, he recorded 9.5 sacks (all of which were in 2020), 19 quarterback hits, 22 tackles for loss, 11 passes defended and 2 interceptions. Adams, originally selected by the New York Jets as the sixth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, totals a career 494 tackles, 21.5 sacks, 7 forced fumbles and 4 interceptions.

If he’s able to rebound and stay healthy with a new beginning in Tennessee will be something to watch in 2024.
