The Howard Stern Show veteran Robin Quivers talks about embracing her hair loss amid cancer battle: ‘It’s my normal hairdo’.

Robin Quivers, co-host of The Howard Stern Show, chatted about embracing her hair loss following her cancer battle.

The 71-year-old star was asked by executive producer Gary Dell’Abate about her ‘sporting a new hairdo’ during the July 17 episode of The Howard Stern Show.

Robin was diagnosed with stage 3C endometrial cancer in 2012 and treated it with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy.

The cancer returned in December 2016 and had metastasized to her lymph nodes, and undergoes chronic treatment that includes intermittent immunotherapy infusions.

‘Well, it’s my normal hairdo. I lost my hair in the second round of chemo I had to take in 2017,’ Robin said.

‘So I’ve been like this since then. But you know, back then there was no time to make decisions and I just started wearing wigs because I just didn’t know what to do,’ she added.

‘But in general, I don’t wear that wig anytime but on the show,’ she said.

Adding: ‘The only reason you don’t see my head like this is because I freeze in the wintertime, because all the time the heat goes out of your head.’

‘I’m very much aware of that now. So I have to cover my head in the wintertime,’ she said.

In 2023, Robin posed for photoshoot for People magazine without a wig showing her hair loss.
