BIG SETBACK: Cleveland Browns Loses Key man.
A Cleveland Browns player decided to retire this offseason after being in the league since the 2016 season. The Browns have had a big week of retirement news.
Two former Browns players, Rashard Higgins and Christian Kirksey, signed a one-day contract with the team before heading off to retirement. While they were known for being good teammates with the Browns and helpful in the Cleveland community, an offensive tackle of theirs chose to retire at 30 before he even took a snap with the team in practice.
Justin Murray retired as a member of the Cleveland Browns
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Browns placed Justin Murray on the reserve/retired list on Wednesday afternoon.
The Denver Broncos signed Murray as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati Bengals, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Las Vegas Raiders, and Tennessee Titans. He signed with the Browns in January.
Murray is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He played college football for Cincinnati.
