Saquon Barkley was the headline offseason signing for the Philadelphia Eagles but there is another former New York Giants player that is equally excited about his move to Pennsylvania. Along with Barkley, the Eagles also signed wide receiver Parris Campbell to their high-flying offense. The 26-year-old managed just 20 receptions and 104 yards with the Giants and is hoping a fresh start can help kickstart his career.

Campbell and Barkley join one of the most talented offensive sides in the league with a star-studded roster awaiting them. Jalen Hurts has been exceptional since being drafted by the Eagles in in the second round of the 2020 draft. In A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia boasts one of the most dangerous receiving corps in the league. Add to that one of the most all-rounded offensive lines in the NFC, and the future is exciting for Eagles’ fans.

Campbell is one man that cannot wait to see what Barkley can do in Philadelphia

“I think he’s going to show people why he’s the best running back in the league,” said Campbell per the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Campbell went on to compare Barkley to San Francisco 49ers three-time Pro Bowl running back Christian McCaffrey

“I know there’s a bunch of debate between him and Christian McCaffrey…being able to see Saquon up close and personal, being in the same locker room, on the same team, man, he’s a different guy when he’s on that field, honestly.

And running behind that offensive line that we have, I think it’s going to be pretty scary for defenses,” added Campbell.
