GOOD NEWS: Jannik Sinner Returns from hip rehabilitation and ready for French Open.
The Italian champion is thinking of starting hip rehabilitation at the medical center of a top world soccer club
Jannik Sinner would have chosen soccer to recover from the hip injury that has been tormenting him for weeks and which forced him to retire first in Madrid and then to skip Rome. Without considering that his Roland Garros is in doubt
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, he is thinking of entrusting himself to the care of the staff of J Medical, the medical center of the Italian soccer club Juventus.
The young Italian will thus try to recover in time for the Parisian Slam and for the most intense, tough and spectacular part of the season, which includes Paris, Wimbledon and the Paris Olympics.
The J Medical represents a global excellence in the care of athletes, considering how even stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo made use of it during his stay in Turin.
Sinner skips Rome
After evaluating his hip condition in detail with his medical staff, Jannik Sinner made a wise decision thinking about his future. Jannik will not participate in the Internazionali BNL d’Italia and has also questioned his participation in the Roland Garros explaining that he will not take any unnecessary risks for his career.
“We need to accept what happened. It hurts me and many fans. I’m 22 years old and I hope to be able to play another 15 years in Rome. Some injuries can be prevented, others can’t. I don’t want to go into details.
We thought it was nothing serious, but the MRI said otherwise. We have everything under control. If I don’t recover 100%, I would be ready to stop: I don’t want to waste years of my career. It’s very important,” he told in a special press conference organized at the Foro Italico, in Rome.
Sinner wanted to send an important message to all his fans and published a new post on his X account.
“It’s never a straight road. We will come back stronger,” he wrote, in reference to the various rumors circulating online about the extent of his injury and the concern expressed by many fans on social media.
