
Just In: Smoky mountain has Just Announced Re-park Opening date…
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is already open after historic flooding from Hurricane Helene in late September 2024 ¹. The park suffered severe damage, especially on the North Carolina side, and some areas remain closed ¹.
Some of the areas that are currently open include ¹:
– Cades Cove Loop Road
– Little River Road
– Wear Cove Gap Road
– Cherokee Orchard Road
– Sugarlands Visitor Center
– Oconaluftee Visitor Center
