Liam Payne’s management recently announced the release of a posthumous single, *Do No Wrong*, a collaboration with renowned producer Sam Pounds. This release marks an emotional moment for fans as it follows Payne’s untimely passing on October 16, 2024, at the age of 31. The track was initially scheduled to debut on November 1, but Pounds decided to delay it, emphasizing the importance of allowing Payne’s family to mourn in peace. He also stated that proceeds from the single will be directed to a charity chosen by Payne’s family.

 

The song, which showcases Payne’s heartfelt vocals alongside Pounds’ production, is accompanied by cover art featuring a man with angel wings, symbolizing Payne’s legacy. Payne’s sister, Ruth Gibbins, shared a video of the artists working on the track, adding a personal touch to the announcement. Pounds described the song as a tribute to Payne’s dreams and hoped it would bring comfort to his family and fans.

 

Payne, a former member of One Direction, had struggled with personal challenges, including addiction, in the years following the group’s hiatus. His tragic death in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was linked to a fall from a hotel balcony. Autopsy reports indicated the presence of substances in his system, highlighting the difficulties he faced despite his immense talent and contributions to music.
