One of the most important areas where the Raiders need to improve is their quarterback performance. Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew are ready to return to a quarterback competition, but with the Raiders ranked 29th in scoring, finding an upgrade seems imperative. With the sixth pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Raiders may be forced to fill their most pressing need through free agency or trade.
However, after signing Pete Carroll as head coach, some, such as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, can’t help but draw parallels to upcoming free agent Russell Wilson.
