BREAKING: Two Detroit Tigers players leave following clubs official statement.

 One sports great after another will be at a big sports convention coming to Michigan this summer, including a reunion of the Detroit Tigers 1984 World Series championship team.

The Detroit Sports Spectacular takes place from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Admission and autograph tickets go on sale on Monday, April 29. They are $15 for adults and $10 for ages 6-10. A weekend pass is $40. Tickets can also be purchased at the event.

11 players have been confirmed for the event from the Tigers ‘84 World Series championship team: Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammell, Jack Morris, Lou Whitaker, Lance Parrish, Howard Johnson, Darrell Evans, Milt Wilcox, Juan Berenguer, Dave Rozema and Doug Bair.

Barry Sanders will also be at the event on Saturday. He will be joined by other football greats like Thurman Thomas, Billy Sims and Andre Rison.

Current NFL players scheduled to attend include Kirk Cousins and Anthony Richardson, along with current Lions Kerby Joseph, Brian Branch and Donovan Peoples-Jones with more to be announced.
Hockey Hall of Famer, Mike Modano is scheduled to be at the event along with Michigan Wolverines from the 2023 National Championship team with Donovan Edwards, Mason Graham and Semaj Morgan. Other guests confirmed for the event are: Darren McCarty, Jim Kaat, Steve Garvey and Mickey Stanley.
